Frequently Asked.

Getting Started
Do I need any experience to join?
Absolutely not! All of our classes — Muay Thai, Boxing and Strength & Conditioning — are suitable for complete beginners. Our coaches are experts at adapting sessions to your current level. The only thing you need to bring is the willingness to learn and work hard.
Is there a free trial available?
Yes! We offer a free intro trial so you can experience BioWeapon before committing to anything. Book your free trial here or call us on 0424 488 505.
What should I wear to my first class?
For your first session, comfortable athletic wear is perfectly fine — shorts or tights and a t-shirt or singlet. Bring a water bottle and a towel. For Muay Thai or Boxing classes, we recommend training with bare feet or with wrestling shoes. Your coach can advise on any additional gear when you arrive.
How do I book my first class?
You can book via three ways:
Classes
What classes do you offer?
We offer four core programs:
  • Muay Thai — All levels, with optional sparring, drills & skills sessions, and an invite-only Fight Team stream
  • Boxing — All levels, led by Fred Torrens
  • Strength & Conditioning — Functional performance training
  • Bioweaponites — Our kids program (ages 4–7 and 8–12) plus an invite-only Advanced class
See the full timetable here.
How long are the classes?
All adult classes run for 60 minutes. Kids classes (4–7yo) run for 45 minutes and Kids classes (8–12yo) run for 45 minutes as well. Sessions are structured with a warm-up, skill/technique work, conditioning, and cool-down.
Can I do multiple different classes per week?
Absolutely. Members on a full membership have unlimited access to all class types — you can mix and match Muay Thai, Boxing and S&C as often as you like. Training across disciplines is actually highly recommended for well-rounded athletic development.
Will I have to spar?
No — sparring is completely optional and only introduced when you're ready and comfortable. The majority of our sessions are technical, pad-based and bag-work oriented. Nobody is ever forced into sparring, and any sparring that does occur is controlled and supervised by coaches.
Membership
Are there lock-in contracts?
No lock-in contracts. We believe in earning your commitment through quality coaching and community — not paperwork. You're free to join and leave on your own terms.
How do I sign up for membership?
Fill in the membership enquiry form on our website and we'll be in touch within 24 hours. Alternatively, call Cameron directly on 0424 488 505 or come in and chat to us in person.
What does membership include?
A full membership gives you unlimited access to all adult classes — Muay Thai (all levels including sparring and drills), Boxing and Strength & Conditioning — as many times per week as you like. Members also receive discounts in the BioWeapon shop and priority booking for events.
Do you offer casual / drop-in passes?
Yes, casual drop-in is available. We also offer 5-class and 10-class passes which never expire. Contact us for current pricing on all pass types.
Kids Program
What age can my child start?
Our Bioweaponites kids program starts from age 4. Two age-specific groups: Bioweaponites 4–7 year olds and 8–12 year olds. Each group has age-appropriate techniques, drills and session structures. Kids ready to progress can be invited to the Advanced class on Friday afternoons.
Is it safe for children?
Absolutely. Our kids sessions are non-contact and focused entirely on technique, fitness and fun. No sparring occurs. The sessions are led by Ally Davitt, our dedicated Kids Coach, who creates a safe, structured environment for young athletes.
What equipment does my child need?
For the first session, just comfortable athletic clothes and a water bottle. Over time, your child will benefit from having hand wraps and bag gloves, but these are not required to start. Coach Ally can advise you on appropriate equipment once your child has tried a class.
When are the kids classes?
4–7 year olds: Tuesday & Thursday 3:45–4:30pm | Saturday 9:30–10:15am

8–12 year olds: Tuesday & Thursday 4:30–5:15pm | Saturday 10:15–11:00am
Training & Gear
What equipment do I need for Muay Thai?
For beginners, you don't need anything to start. Over time you'll want:
  • Hand wraps (essential)
  • Boxing/Muay Thai gloves (12–16oz recommended)
  • Mouthguard (for sparring)
  • Muay Thai shorts (optional but traditional)
We stock BioWeapon gear in our shop and can advise on equipment when you join.
Is personal training available?
Yes! Cameron offers private personal training sessions covering Muay Thai technique, strength & conditioning, and sport-specific programming. Contact Cameron directly for availability and pricing: 0424 488 505.
Can I train if I'm injured or have health conditions?
Please always consult your GP or healthcare professional before starting any new training program. Let your coach know about any injuries or conditions before class and they will modify the session accordingly. We'd rather you train smart than not at all.
